Ann Peel

In her own words…

Ann Peel brings to Childhood Now extensive experience in the fields of child and community development, particularly as those relate to sport. As a member of the Canadian athletics team, and an internationally ranked racewalker, Ann experienced the value of sport to human development. Following her athletic career, she practiced law in Toronto for ten years, then moved to the non-profit sector in the field of child development. As the founding Executive Director of Right to Play she applied that knowledge directly to community sport programming. Subsequently, Ann worked in education, while continuing to develop sport for development programming in Canada and internationally. Supporting children, families and community is Ann’s commitment and passion.
